Terms of service

Last updated: 10 September 2026. These terms apply to every organization and user of Idolbe Patch, the patch-management console operated by Idolbe (idolbe-ai.com), "we". By creating an organization or accepting an invitation you agree to them on behalf of your organization.

1. The service

Idolbe Patch is a hosted console and an agent program that inventory computers, report missing updates and vulnerabilities, and execute the actions your users request on those computers (scripts, update and software deployments, reboots). The service is provided as described in the documentation; features may be added or changed, and we announce changes with customer impact on the status page.

2. Your account and your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for the actions of the users you invite and for keeping credentials, enrollment keys and API secrets confidential.
• You confirm that you own or are authorized to manage every computer on which you install the agent, and that you have informed the people who use those computers as your law requires.
• You decide what the service does on your computers. Actions you queue run with system privileges; you are responsible for what you deploy, including third-party software and scripts.
• You must not use the service to attack, probe or disrupt other organizations, the console or third parties, nor to process data you have no right to process.

3. Plans, limits and payment

Each organization has a plan with an endpoint limit and, for paid plans, a term. Free and trial plans may be limited in endpoints or duration and may be withdrawn with 30 days' notice. Paid plans are governed by the order form or quote you accept; prices exclude VAT. When a paid term ends without renewal, new endpoints can no longer enroll; existing data stays readable for 30 days, after which the organization may be closed as described in section 6.

4. Availability and support

We operate the service as described in Availability commitment and support. Unless your order form says otherwise, that page is a description of how we work, not a guarantee giving rise to credits or damages.

5. Data

• Data collected from your endpoints and entered by your users belongs to you. We process it only to provide, secure and improve the service, as described in the privacy policy and data retention pages.
• We do not sell your data and do not use it to train models or for advertising.
• You can export your data at any time in the console and through the API.

6. Ending the agreement

You may close your organization at any time from Subscription → Close Account; the service uninstalls the agents and deletes your data after a 30-day grace period (details). We may suspend or close an organization that breaches these terms, does not pay, or endangers the service or other customers, with notice where the law requires it.

7. Intellectual property

The console, the agents and the documentation are ours or our licensors'. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for the duration of the agreement. You may not reverse engineer the agents except where the law allows it, nor resell the service without a written agreement.

8. Warranties and liability

The service is provided with reasonable skill and care. Updating software carries inherent risks (an update from a third-party vendor may break an application); we do not guarantee the behavior of the software you deploy. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim in a contract year is limited to the fees you paid for that year, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data you could have backed up. Nothing limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct or death or personal injury.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email to organization administrators and on the status page at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which Idolbe is established, and disputes are brought before its courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data-protection rules that apply to you.
